Project Details
Developed through a partnership between Lourdes Hospital, a local physician group, and surgery center management firm CSA, this five-OR ambulatory surgery center is purpose-built to deliver high-efficiency, cost effective outpatient orthopedic and pain management care, including total joint procedures.
The 16,000-sf state-of-the-art facility transforms a former anchor space within a shopping mall into a modern healthcare destination and serves as the focal point of an expanded outpatient orthopedic practice.
Guided by extensive input from clinical subject matter experts, the design team shaped a floor plan that strengthens spatial efficiency while supporting optimal clinical workflow, patient privacy, and overall comfort. A circular patient-flow model maximizes operational efficiency and eliminates cross traffic between incoming and post-operative patients. A dedicated discharge exit from the post-op suite further enhances the patient experience and reduces congestion at the main entrance.
